On a night of fireworks,

I found summer in yukatas as people walked through the city at dusk.

This year, I haven't felt summer except for the intense heat. I realized that.

After finishing work and taking a break, the city was still basking in the afterglow of the summer festival. I was left behind by the season and longed for human warmth.
